Black History Projects

February is Black History Month and the second graders each did a report and project on one famous African American to share with the class. All of the reports were very interesting and the class got to learn about about 24 famous African Americans in the process. The projects that went along with the reports were very creative and informative! They displayed facts and pictures that helped the students to learn more about them. The class really enjoyed hearing about these famous people and the contributions they made to our country! I want to thank all of the parents for their wonderful help with this projects!

Everyone had a great time! Thank you to ALL of the moms who helped out with the stations. Thank you also for all of the wonderful snacks sent in for our snack station. It was a huge success!

Week of April 14-18
Reading
Story of the Week: Anthony Reynoso: Born to Rope
